Pastor Dr. Morella Ivey
Pastor Morella Ivey was born on March 6th in Durham, North Carolina to Rev. Lester and the late Mary Flowers. Named after her grandparents Morrell and Estella Flowers, Pastor Ivey has a total of five brothers and one sister. Growing up in a Christian home with godly parents, Pastor Ivey was introduced to Christ at an early age and has diligently served in ministry since childhood. Pastor Ivey always knew that God had a special calling on her life. The Lord has given her a passion to encourage and push others and in January of 2008, Pastor Ivey accepted her call into ministry and preached her initial sermon entitled “Don’t Be Scared.”
Not knowing what God had in store, she faithfully served as a member of the Love of God Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of her father Rev. Lester Flowers as Praise and Worship Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Financial Secretary, Choir Director, and Associate Minister. In April of 2012, God allowed Pastor Morella to cross paths with Apostle Joseph Ivey and from there, their union was united in love on February 16, 2014. Together they have four boys; two godsons. Pastor Morella was ordained Pastor of Greater Full Assurance International Ministries in October 2013 and has been diligently serving alongside of her husband to help push the vision. Pastor Ivey is a Hillside High Class of 1999 graduate.
From there, she went on to attended the University Of North Carolina Of Greensboro where she completed two years of studies with a focus in Business Administration. On June 20, 2015 with the help of God, Pastor Ivey received her Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Safe Haven Interdenominational National Bible Training Institute under the instruction of Apostle Hattie Stancil. In January 2019 she received a B.A. in Early Childhood Education Administration. She is currently enrolled in Ashford University where she is working towards a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education Administration with a graduation date of October 2020.
